NEOPAT to Host Seventh Annual Red, White & Groove Gala to Support Local Troops
Black Tie Event Will Include Dinner, Dancing and Live Entertainment

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – February 8, 2017 – The Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism will hold its seventh annual Red, White and Groove Gala on March 4, 2017 at the Astrodome in Parma to support local military service members and their families.

The formal event will run from 5:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Veterans will share their personal and inspiring stories of how NEOPAT has positively impacted their families. Sinatra CLE and Cleveland’s own, Spazmatics, will provide the live entertainment. The exciting raffle prizes will include event tickets, autographed items and more.

“The gala is a wonderful way for the community and area businesses to have a memorable night out while meeting and supporting our local heroes. We've had a lot of fun with it these past few years, so we're expecting another successful night,” said Mike Swallow, president of NEOPAT.

This year, gala organizers expect to raise $70,000. NEOPAT will use the money to support the basic, morale and emergency needs of local military members and their families, pay tribute to service members who have been killed while serving their country and provide academic scholarships for the children of veterans.

“It’s NEOPAT’s mission to serve those who serve our country. Without their sacrifices, we wouldn’t have all of the everyday freedoms we enjoy,” Swallow said.

The Astrodome is located at 5720 State Road in Parma. Individual tickets are $140 each and include an open bar, dinner and live entertainment. Prices for tables vary. Details can be found at www.neopat.org/news-events/.

The Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization created to support, honor and inspire acts of patriotism throughout Northeast Ohio.

Our mission is to assist Northeast Ohio military personnel and their families by working to alleviate the sacrifices they make for our freedom. Fundraising efforts are focused on supporting basic, emergency, health and communication needs.

NEOPAT is also dedicated to conducting and promoting events that will deepen the sense of patriotism in our community. By encouraging non-military individuals and families to share their time, talents and finances to benefit local patriots, and by creating interaction opportunities between civilian and military families, NEOPAT can highlight the importance of patriotism for generations to come.
