Film Screening and Discussion: "A Thousand and One Journeys: The Arab Americans"

Lakewood Area Collaborative Job Club Meeting

The Lakewood Area Collaborative hosts a monthly Job Club on the fourth Tuesday of the month, at Lakewood United Methodist Church.

The next Job Club meeting will be held on Tuesday March 28th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Lakewood United Methodist Church. Our guest speaker will be Alan Miller from Ohio Means Jobs/Cleveland-Cuyahoga.

Citrus & Clean Perfumery Workshop

Date: Saturday, May 20th
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Venue: Yates Perfume Studio

During this perfumery workshop, you will learn the basics of perfumery: what are notes, types of perfumery oils, building a scent, and blending ratios. You will make and take two 5ml bottles of perfume. All Yates perfumes are alcohol-free and are blending in a fractionated coconut oil base.

This workshop will focus on citrus & clean notes. A large variety of notes will be available: lemon, lime, grapefruit, cotton, ocean, lemongrass, bergamot, grass, fig, and much more.

Tea, water, and chocolates will be available. Outside beverages are welcomed.

Please arrive at the workshop free of perfumes so that you can experience your creations as you're blending.
