Loving Lakewood: Lumberjack Bash

Calling all lumberjacks and jills: Get ready to channel your flannel and dance your axe off!
LakewoodAlive announces it will host Loving Lakewood: Lumberjack Bash presented by Geiger’s on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at The Bottlehouse Brewery Lakewood (13368 Madison Avenue). Guests are cordially invited to grow their best beard, don their finest Lumberjack attire and attend LakewoodAlive’s annual winter fundraiser for a log-splitting good time.
Proceeds from the Lumberjack Bash will support LakewoodAlive’s programming as we strive to foster and sustain vibrant neighborhoods in Lakewood. Much like lumberjacks, we at LakewoodAlive are renowned for our work ethic and not afraid to roll up our sleeves and get the job done.
The Lumberjack Bash will feature lumberjack-themed food, drinks, décor and entertainment. Attendees will be chopping at the bit to consume pancakes and bacon-wrapped sausage links, sample a Blue Ox cocktail, enjoy live music and partake in games and activities fit for a true Lumberjack.

Bring It On The Musical

Beck Center and Baldwin Wallace Music Theatre Program team up in 2017 with Bring It On The Musical, the 2013 Tony Award nominee for Best Musical. Bitingly relevant and sprinkled with sass, this movie-based-musical takes audiences on a high-flying journey filled with the complexities of friendship, jealousy, betrayal, and forgiveness. Campbell’s dream senior year becomes a nightmare when redistricting forces her to attend the less-than-spirited Jackson High School. After struggling to fit in, she joins forces with the headstrong Danielle to set the cheerleading world on fire. With a renewed spirit and a powerhouse squad they take on their school rivals at the National Championships to see who can Bring It On!
