Capture Your Creativity

The City of Lakewood's Division of Aging is partnering with North Coast Health for Mental Health Awareness Month! Join art therapist, Yvette Nosal who will lead an exploratory art experience through to help you get in touch with your inner creative while discussing the wellness benefits of art and creating. No experience is required, just an open mind! This program is geared towards adults 60 and older who are interested in tapping into their creativity and exploring their inner artist.

CTC Lunch ’n’ Learn Speaker Series

Career Transition Center presents a monthly speaker series where you can hear from a member of the Business community about topics of interest to job seekers. Bring a lunch. Coffee and cookies will be provided.

This month Lori Peters will discuss “Handling Transitions”. Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 12 noon until 1:30 for some learning, sharing and networking.

Q & A Workshop Session

This month NEOPC welcomes Lee Gerber, Dennis Lewis and Tom Jones for their Questions & Answers workshop session. All are welcome to bring questions and topics that are of interest. This workshop session covers:

Basic computer fundamentals for Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10
Security (e.g., Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG anti-virus )
Maintenance (CCleaner & Malwarebytes )
Software (Microsoft Word, Excel )
Wireless (Wi-Fi Devices, streaming TV, Movies, Music)
Tablets, Smartphones, and digital cameras
NEOPC web site and Forum (how to post & reply)
Decisions about upgrading to Windows 10
