PTA Wellness Series: It's All About You

You’ve heard the phrase, “Make sure to put the oxygen mask on yourself first before attempting to help others”? It is a simple theory, to take good care of your loved ones you must take good care of yourself first. Yet, how many of us really listen to that advice? Well, here’s your chance.
The Lakewood PTAs is hosting a 4-parent wellness series focused of taking care of you first. On Thursday, October 22nd we’ll kick-off the series with “Relax, Rejuvenate, Reduce Stress” from 7pm-8:30pm at Garfield Middle School. Take a well-deserved break while learning about the powerful effects of massage and mediation in reducing stress. You will leave with practical day to day tips to help stay balanced every day. Plus, shop our PTA Wellness Market.
Upcoming topics and dates for the series are; Time Management for the Modern Parent (January 22nd), Yoga Basics (February 25th), and Healthy Eating through Plant-Base Nutrition (April to be announced).
The PTA Wellness Series: It’s All About You is open to the entire community. PTA members are free, non-members $5.00 per session. Join PTA the first night and attend the entire series for free. Registration is required-Space is limited.
