2012 Kid's Summer Kick-off
12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
This will be our second year to host the Kid’s Summer Kick-off. Last year it was at Lakewood Park, but this year we are going to change the location to Madison Park in Lakewood. This event is completely FREE! There will be face-painting, helium, balloons, balloon animals, sno-cones, popcorn, candy, games, give-aways, music, and much more! Fun for the whole family!

Blondes vs. Brunettes Powderpuff Football Game to benefit the Cleveland Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association

Blondes vs. Brunettes (BvB) is the Powder Puff Football sensation that is sweeping the nation and has raised over $1.5 million nationally for the Alzheimer’s Association to help fight Alzheimer’s disease. From D.C. to Chicago to NYC, Houston and beyond, BvB has been a phenomenal success, and now it’s time to bring this epic ladies’ flag football game to Cleveland! We’re calling it BvBCLE.
Two teams, divided to reflect the age-old rivalry between Blondes and Brunettes, will compete June 16th on Krenzler Field at Cleveland State University. While only one team will arise victorious, all of us win because it is a battle to end Alzheimer’s!
BvBCLE Game Day and Victory Party
When: Saturday, June 16, 2 p.m. (kickoff)
Where: Hosted by Cleveland State University at Krenzler Field (E. 18th St. and Chester Ave., Cleveland, 44114)
What: Cheer on your favorite team as Blondes battle Brunettes on the gridiron, followed by a Victory Party where everyone can join in the fun!

Art Deck-O

Breakneck Gallery Presents "The Art Deck-O" Show
Tony Hawk may never have held a paint brush and Picasso may never have done an ollie, but Breakneck Gallery will bring together the two disparate worlds of skate and art in the Art Deck-O Show on Saturday June 16th."
Local artists such as Eric Kaplan, CHOD, Sean Burns and many more will transplant their work from canvas to skate deck in a show that welcomes art lovers and skaters alike. Also Pete Woodward (the Unknown, Restless Habs) will be making a musical performance during the opening reception. Breakneck will also be raffling off items and donating the money to Public Square Group, a local non-profit organization dedicated to supporting skateboarding, art and civics.
Opening Reception June 16th 6-10pm

Live performance by Pete Woodward after 9pm
As always there will be food, drinks, fun, and of course ART!
