Annual Scramble for Lakewood Golf Outing

Golf season is finally here! Join the fun at the 2012 Annual Scramble for Lakewood Golf Outing at Red Tail Golf Club in Avon on Monday, September 10th. This annual event fosters camaraderie and promotes networking with members of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and Pillars of Lakewood. The event includes greens fees for 18 holes plus cart, boxed lunch, barbecue dinner, contests and door prizes.

The golf outing, with proceeds benefiting your choice of the Lakewood/Rocky River Rotary Club or the Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to begin at 11:30am with a Shotgun start, followed by a dinner on the patio at 5:00pm. Taste of the Browns

Join us for one of Cleveland's premier parties of the season. Meet and mingle with Cleveland Browns alumni and current players, dine on signature samples from over 25 of Cleveland's finest restaurants, enjoy live music, and bid on one-of-a-kind auction and raffle items - all for a good cause! The 14th annual Taste of the Browns benefits the Cleveland Foodbank. For every dollar donated at the event, the Foodbank can provide enough food for four meals! Cleveland Bratislava Sister Cities, Inc. September Meeting

Father Marek Visnovsky, Pastor of St. Emilian's Byzantine Catholic Church, and his wife Miriam, will share the memories of their wedding in Slovakia & the story of their arrival and experiences in the United States. Father Marek is from the Vranov Nad Toplou region and Miriam is from the Michalovce Region of Slovakia. On Saturday morning’s Miriam teaches Slovak at the Slovak School at St Joseph Byzantine Catholic Church in Brecksville.
