Required Minimum Distributions 101

Steven and Jonathan Clark from Clark Financial Services will cover a variety of important items in reference to Required Minimum Distributions, AKA: RMD’s. This workshop will clarify how to calculate your own RMD and when you need to start taking distributions. Plan to find out what the penalty the IRS will charge if your RMD is not taken! They will also touch on the impact the RMD can have on your Social Security. Attendees’ will leave with a better understanding on a topic that has tremendous impact on their financial health. This is purely a 30 minute educational workshop. There will be nothing sold or marketed. This workshop is intended for the general public, not other financial advisors.

Lakewood Observer Coffee at the Beck Cafe

Have some coffee (or tea) on us at the Beck Cafe and enjoy some conversation with Lakewood City Councilperson-At-Large, Monique Smith, who will be on hand to share her journey from Lakewood citizen to Lakewood citizen-Councilperson-mom. Everyone's welcome.

Outdoor Yoga at the Park
7:15 PM - 8:15 PM
Fee: By donation. Cash or check written to Pink Lotus Yoga.
Our outdoor classes are fun, free-spirited yoga for students at all levels. Bring mat, water, towel or blanket, and dress in layers. Sunscreen and sunglasses are highly recommended, though locations offer a sun/shade mix. Parents who wish to bring children must have prior instructor approval.
Rainsite: At the studio: 18103 Detroit Avenue; Lakewood. Classes remain as donation when moved indoors.
Note: There is no rainsite for the Saturday morning outdoor class!! Join Sarah Perkins for her Vinyasa class instead (studio fee applies).
