12:00 AM - 12:00 AM
Modern Casino/ Deja Vu

The Pop Shop Gallery will be housing its next group show entitled “Modern Casino” on Saturday July 25th from 6-9pm. This show consists of over 20 local artisans putting their work on the art roulette table. In an economy that doesn’t favor art as a necessity; artists will take their chances as the odds are stacked against them. Modern Casino will run from July 25th – Aug. 22nd

(art)ificial Gallery will be housing a one night only silent auction by artist David Kay entitled “Déjà Vu” on Saturday July 25th from 6-9pm. Déjà Vu is a show of vinyl cut pop icons, celebrities from the music and movie industries. Why a silent auction? David Kay states, “As a starving artist, it's always better to sell something for a little rather then not selling anything at all.” Most works will start at $10 this evening. Let the race back and forth to the signup sheets, repeating this reoccurring dream.

An after party will be held at Mullen’s on Madison, located next to the galleries, for an adult after party starting at 9pm. Wristbands can be obtained from either The Pop Shop or (art)ificial Gallery.

*New Summer hours for both galleries are Tuesday – Saturday 11am-6pm. Closed Sundays, open by appointment only on Mondays.
