Beck Center presents an encore production of the uproarious Tony Award-winning comedy, Urinetown The Musical. Urinetown The Musical transports audiences to a Gotham-like city where a 20-year drought has made the simplest human necessity, water, more precious than gold. Attempting to regulate its consumption, the government has imposed a bizarre law- the use of private toilets is banned and an omnipotent corporation, the Urine Good Company, is charging citizens to use the restroom! Urinetown The Musical pokes fun at capitalism, political corruption, corporate mismanagement, social irresponsibility; and even parodies Broadway theater itself.
