Green Lakewood 5K
This standard 5k will be a green event with proceeds going to support the efforts of H2O and benefit the recycling program at the High School. Entry fee will be $15 and both runners and walkers are welcome. Registration begins at 8:15 with the race starting promptly at 9am. Cheerleading – Grades 3-4
Participants will cheer for the 3-4 grade tackle football teams participating in a 4 to 5 game/scrimmage season in the recreational in-house program. Cost is $45 per participant – Lakewood residents only.
Practice starts in September. Deadline for registration is August 31st. Participants 10 years of age and older must have a physical on file at the Recreation Department prior to participating.

Wing Crawl
For the third year, bars have been brought together to offer a unique experience. This year's event features 11 locations (with several more as possibilities). Your VIP Pass, which can be purchased at any participating location or online at www.pillarsoflakewood.com/shop.aspx for just $15 in advance or $20 day of the event will entitle you to 6 wings from each location, transportation between stops and a ballot to cast your vote for the best wings in Lakewood. In addition to all of the wings, and the chance to visit many of the local establishments there will also be contests and a raffle for those who can complete the entire crawl in the time allotted.

This event is sponsored by Pillars of Lakewood and is open to the public.
