Lakewood High School presents "Back to the 80s! The Totally Awesome Musical"
LAKEWOOD: Lakewood High School’s Barnstormers Drama Club in conjunction with the LHS Music Department, would like to announce our spring production of the fun-filled, “time travelling” musical Back to the 80’s! The show will be presented at 8pm in the Civic Auditorium on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - May 1, 2, and 3. If you remember shoe-lace hair clips, scrunchies, t-shirt clips, pet rocks or short skirts with bicycle shorts beneath – then you probably graduated from high school while Cyndi Lauper was singing “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and Deneice Williams was belting out “Let’s Hear if for the Boy!” Tickets for this trip back to the heyday of Billy Ocean and Michael Jackson are only $6.00 per person and may be ordered by calling 216.529.4162. We guarantee this show will have you clapping and humming along to tunes that bring back a set of totally awesome and rad memories. Come see the show and for one night follow our philosophy - don’t worry, be happy because we’re walking on sunshine and, believe it or not, nothing’s gonna stop us now!
Location:
Lakewood Civic Auditorium, 14100 Franklin Blvd.
